Nothing gets the blood pumping quite like a big serving of
i?VTEC® every morning. Honda's signature technology gives
you plenty of torque off the line as well as horsepower to
spare down the road. The Drive?by?Wire? throttle system
yields improved response and smoother shifts. Power flows
through a precise 5?speed manual transmission, or you can
enjoy the ease of use of the available 5?speed automatic.
The Civic's sporty feel is the product
of its sophisticated suspension
system and power?assisted rack?
and?pinion steering. Both have
been engineered for quick, precise
response and a refined ride quality.
Confident stopping is provided
on DX and LX models by front disc

all four corners.

It's also received Advanced Technology Partial Zero-Emission Vehicle7(AT-PZEV) status- the
most stringent emissions standard yet achieved by a gasoline-powered vehicle in the U.S.
But don't think of it as a move to austerity. Interior amenities include automatic climate control,

a lightweight, high-output electric motor. The two work together
seamlessly, so it feels just like a normal, responsive Civic. The IMA
system's recharging function is completely self-sufficient. The
vehicle's powertrain automatically recharges the onboard battery
pack so it never needs to be plugged in.
The Civic Hybrid's 4?cylinder engine features torque?enhancing i?VTEC
and a dual?point sequential ignition system that fires two spark plugs
per cylinder. The engine is mated with a powerful DC electric motor
that's less than 2.5" wide. Power for the motor is stored in a battery pack
located behind the rear seat. at only 8" thick, it leaves plenty of room
in the trunk. To assure its long life, the Ima battery pack comes with an
8?year/100,000?mile limited battery warranty.8
is the Biggest plus OF All
With its impressive list of standard safety
features, the Civic is a prime example of
Honda's commitment to providing a high
level of occupant protection. In fact, both
the Civic Coupe and Sedan received a
5-star frontal crash-test rating from NHTSA.

A dream is a view of the
world not as it is, but as it could be. For over 60 years, Honda has encouraged its associates to aim
beyond what is currently possible. All for the purpose of progressing human mobility. This spirit has resulted in advances in
environmental technology, like the hydrogen fuel cell FCX Clarity, that brings us closer to a future filled with blue skies. It
guides us as we strive to exceed government safety regulations and has led to industry-changing innovations on the ground, in the water, and, with
the HondaJet,® in the air. And it pushes us to use premier
race circuits as testing grounds for our ideas. Moving forward,
our minds are open to new ideas,no matter where they

Ridgeline2010 Honda
Pickup trucks have always been about
muscle
backbone and
testosterone...
Ridgeline RTS shown in Bali Blue Pearl.
?then Honda gave them a brain and made them a whole lot bet ter.
Where is it written that big has to mean inefficient? Why is it acceptable for a pickup truck
to treat passengers like cargo? Or make driving feel more like work than fun? When we
developed the Ridgeline, our goal was to make a truck every bit as tough as it needs to be,
but also to send it charging into new territory. So we packed it with innovative features like
4-wheel independent suspension, a dual-action tailgate and lockable In-Bed Trunk, and plenty
of high-tech features inside. After all, why stick with the way things have always been done
when you can find a better way?
Tough meets intelligent.
It's so versatile, the dictionary lists Ridgeline as a noun,
a verb and an adjective. With an extra-wide flat cargo bed as well as innovative
features like a dual-action tailgate and lockable In-Bed Trunk, the Ridgeline takes
on new challenges, doing things no pickup truck ever dreamed of.
Rigid meets flexible.
The dual-action tailgate not only swings
down like ordinary tailgates, but it also
swings out to the side, allowing you easy
access to the vehicle's In-Bed Trunk.
Because the Ridgeline's rear wheel wells
don't intrude into the cargo area, the 49.5"
wide bed allows a thick stack of 4' x 8'
plywood sheets to lie flat.
The Ridgeline's bed is constructed of
Steel-Reinforced Composite (SRC)
material. Both stronger and lighter than
regular steel, it's designed to take
almost any abuse you can dish out.
Eight heavy-duty tie-down cleats
let you secure up to 1,100 lbs, so
you can transport even the most
uncooperative cargo.*
The lockable In-Bed Trunk keeps gear
secure and out of sight. With its
weather-tight, 8.5-cubic-foot capacity,
it can accommodate large items like
golf bags or even a 72-quart cooler.*
*Honda reminds you to properly secure all items stored in the cargo area.
It singlehandedly gave the entire
Swiss army an identity crisis.
The Ridgeline's tailgate is designed to
safely accommodate large, heavy items
like an ATV. Its 300-lb dynamic load
capacity makes it one of the strongest
tailgates around.*
Shown with accessory bed extender.

Lean muscle. Zero fat. This is the
key to getting the most out of every one of the Ridgeline's 250

automatic specifically geared for the task, a high-capacity radiator
with dual electric fans, a heavy-duty power-steering-fluid cooler
and a high-capacity automatic transmission-fluid cooler. The rigid
chassis design and large brake rotors also contribute to its towing
abilities. What it all means is that you can handle the big loads - up
to 5,000 lbs2- without breaking a sweat.
Efficient meets powerful.

refined. Employing Honda's patented Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic
Control (VTEC®), it provides abundant power whenever you need it. A two-stage
intake manifold provides ample torque, especially at the low end, for excellent
towing ability. The unique high-mounted fresh-air intake system packs cooler air
into the combustion chambers to help keep output strong, even in heavy-duty
driving and towing conditions. Additionally,
the engine provides surprising fuel
efficiency3 and a low emissions rating.
A ride so smooth, it'll have you believing the world is flat.
You know that bone-jarring jolt you feel
every time your truck hits a bump? Think
you'll miss it? The Ridgeline's chassis,
independent suspension and sophisticated
4WD system have been designed and
tuned to not only handle heavy-duty work
and occasional off-road use, but also
to provide a surprisingly refined ride. And
like every Honda, they
help make the Ridgeline
a blast to drive.
Tough meets refined.
Unlike the solid rear axle setup
found in most other trucks,
the Ridgeline enjoys the
advantages of 4-wheel
independent suspension.
It provides not only superior
handling, but also a
more composed ride with
unmatched stability.
When the benefits of 4WD are
needed, the vehicle's Variable Torque
Management® 4-wheel-drive system
(VTM-4®) sends up to 70% of engine
torque to the rear wheels.
The integrated closed-box frame
with unit-body construction not only
provides strength and class-leading
torsion rigidity, but it also makes
the ride both quieter and smoother.
VTM-4 Lock® helps you get moving in
low-traction conditions such as ice or
loose gravel. Press the dash-mounted
button and the rear differential will
lock and stay locked up to 18 mph in
forward or reverse gear.
Under normal driving conditions such
as cruising on dry pavement, the VTM-4
system sends all power to the front
wheels. This maximizes fuel efficiency3
when 4WD isn't needed.
Ridgeline RTL shown in Dark Cherry Pearl.
Like most 4-wheel-drive systems, the
Ridgeline responds reactively to wheel
slippage, sending power where it's needed
most. But unlike competing systems, it also
responds proactively based on the amount
of torque the engine is producing. By
anticipating the need for additional traction,
it ensures a smooth and almost transparent
transition between 2- and 4-wheel drive.

The Ridgeline's first line of defense is a reinforced unit body that incorporates
a closed-box frame with internal high-strength steel frame stiffeners. Both
the frame rails and all seven cross members feature box-section construction.
The result is a remarkably high torsion rigidity, a low chance of rollover? and
a 5-star crash-safety rating, from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
*
Its confidence-inspiring
powers extend beyond the
ability to pull a boat up a ramp.
The Ridgeline is clear
evidence of Honda's commitment to delivering a high
level of safety, regardless of the size of your bank
account. The Ridgeline was the first 4-door pickup
truck ever to earn 5-star ratings in both frontal- and
side-impact crash tests from the National Highway
Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
*
Slip meets grip.
The Ridgeline's standard Tire Pressure
Monitoring System5 (TPMS) continually checks
the pressure of each tire, alerting the driver
with an in-dash display when a particular tire's
pressure is significantly low.
*Government star ratings are part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's
(NHTSA) New Car Assessment Program (www.safercar.gov). Model tested with standard
side-impact airbags (SABs).?Based upon percentage chance of rollover if involved in a
single-vehicle crash, as calculated by NHTSA.
Front, front side, and side curtain airbags are
all standard.** The front seats feature active
head restraints that are designed to move
up and forward in a rear collision to help keep
head movement to a minimum, potentially
reducing whiplash injuries.
Vehicle Stability Assist
?
(VSA®) with traction
control can detect under steer or over steer
and reduce the amount of engine torque and/
or use the vehicle's ABS system to brake
individual wheels as needed to help restore
your intended course.
The anti-lock braking system (ABS) also features Brake Assist,
which can help apply maximum braking in certain emergency
situations. Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) varies the brake
force to each wheel to help balance dynamic loads.
**Honda reminds you and your passengers to always buckle up. Children
12 and under are safest when properly restrained in the rear seat.
Airbags inflated for display purposes.
If it's gear you're hauling, the rear
seats offer plenty of under-seat
storage. They also lift up to make
room for large objects - even a
full-size mountain bike. The rear
seat's 60/40 split also allows for
both gear and passengers.
Along with plenty of legroom and
elbow room, the slightly elevated
stadium seating makes the second
row of the Ridgeline anything
but second class. In addition, the
flat rear floor allows for a more
comfortable ride for passengers
and more room for cargo.
Think of it as the great indoors. The Ridgeline's unique body
design allows for a wider, deeper cabin, with plenty of room for five full-size adults. But
just because it's big doesn't mean it's not sophisticated. RTS and above models feature
dual-zone automatic climate control and a 10-way power driver's seat including power
lumbar support. In addition, RTL models add heated front seats, carpeted floor mats,
leather trim, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a power moonroof.
Rugged meets roomy.
Honda reminds you to properly secure all items
stored in the cargo area.
The Ridgeline doesn't have a cabin; it has a 5 -star resort.
Ridgeline RTL shown with Gray Leather and available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System.
Thoughtful details throughout the cabin elevate ease-of-use to a whole new level.
The steering-wheel design features integrated buttons for the cruise control on
all models and audio-system functions on RTS and RTL. The cavernous center
console contains multiple storage compartments, as well as a 115-volt power
outlet on RTL that lets you plug in a laptop or other electronic devices. Large
control knobs allow for easy operation, even with gloved hands.
Rugged performance means you'll get where
you're going. Advanced systems inside help keep
you connected and informed until you get there.

as a rearview camera display. The Bluetooth®7 Hands Free Link® on RTL

A dream is a view of
the world not as it is, but as it could
be. For over 60 years, Honda has encouraged its associates to aim beyond what
is currently possible. All for the purpose of progressing human mobility. This
spirit has resulted in advances in environmental technology, like the hydrogen fuel
cell FCX Clarity, that brings us closer to a future filled
with blue skies. It guides us as we strive
to exceed government safety regulations
and has led to industry-changing innovations on the ground,
in the water, and, with the HondaJet,® in the air. And it pushes us
to use premier race circuits as testing grounds for our ideas.

More than just steel, aluminum, rubber and glass, the
Honda Accord is a collection of ideas. Like the belief
that being responsible and having fun are not mutually
exclusive. Or that the proper hierarchy in automotive
design is man first, machine second. Or that innovative
engine technology can result in both power and efficiency.
These are among the principles you'll find at work in
every Honda. And particularly in the 2010 Accord.

with efficiency1 and low emissions.2

Imagine an engine that not only exhilarates, but can also minimize fuel use and
emissions. Accord offers three. A 177-hp, 2.4-liter i-VTEC® 4-cylinder (sedan
only) and a 190-hp version, both of which received a Partial Zero-Emissions
Vehicle (PZEV) rating.2 A 271-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 is also a model of efficiency.1
The Accord's V-6 features the latest generation of Variable Cylinder
Management?(VCM®) technology. This system can activate and deactivate
the engine's cylinders as needed to meet the demands of acceleration
and maximize fuel efficiency.1
During steady cruising, the Accord's V-6 shuts
down the entire rear bank of cylinders. So
the vehicle is essentially running on half an
engine - resulting in greater fuel efficiency.1
In this mode, the audio system's Active Noise
Cancellation?(ANC) function generates
out-of-phase sound waves to cancel out any
undesirable noise that may be due to the
harmonics of 3-cylinder operation.
When cruising speeds climb, the engine will
move from 3-cylinder operation to a 4-cylinder
mode. The first, second, fifth and sixth
cylinders - two cylinders in each bank- will be
engaged for balanced running. To help keep
engine vibration from reaching the cabin in
every mode, a pair of active engine mounts
automatically adjust their firmness to help
absorb energy.
When maximum torque is required- such as when you're merging onto
the freeway or climbing a steep hill- all six cylinders are firing to deliver the
engine's full power. The transition between the three operating modes is
nearly seamless to the driver and passengers.

Nothing characterizes an Accord more than its distinctive feel. Much of this springs from the
vehicle's front double wishbone and rear multi-link suspension. Engineered for instant response,
it is the perfect embodiment of our core philosophy of continual improvement, even in those
areas where we're already a leader. Additional features include Variable Gear Ratio (VGR) power
steering for excellent high-speed stability and enhanced low-speed maneuverability. These are
just a couple of the things that make the Honda Accord such a uniquely enjoyable car to drive.
For an extra helping of athletic ability, try the Accord EX-L V-6
6-speed Coupe. Its short-throw shifter gives you pinpoint control
over the vehicle's well-chosen gear ratios. Eighteen-inch alloy
wheels also complement its sporting potential.
Every 2010 Accord comes with disc brakes on all four wheels for smooth,
powerful and fade-resistant stopping capability. Electronic Brake Distribution
(EBD) apportions braking force according to dynamic loading.
Both the front and rear suspension components attach to subframes,
which are then fixed to the unit body. The bushings at all rigid mounting
points have been meticulously engineered to help isolate road noise
and vibration while also assuring Accord-quality handling.
The rear suspension is an
especially clever construction.
Its multi-link design delivers
terrific handling while its
compact, optimized suspension
positioning has enhanced
lateral rigidity for greater
stability in corners.
From the way the driver's seat
holds your body to the way the
audio buttons feel to your touch,
there's a reason for everything.
Nothing is superfluous. Nothing
seems like an afterthought.

The Accord's one-touch power moonroof on EX models
features a tilt function as well as an air diffuser that

The simplicity and ease with which controls

scrutiny paid to their design. A signature Accord
benefit is that interacting with the vehicle's
various systems quickly becomes second nature.
Comfort comes not just from the wide,

The Vehicle Stability Assist?(VSA®)
system is standard on all Accords.
During an understeer or oversteer
situation, it can brake individual
wheels and/or reduce engine power
to help restore your intended course.
Standard ABS will also help you
maintain steering - even during hard
braking. Also standard is Brake
Assist, which helps apply full braking
in some emergency situations, and
Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD),
which helps braking performance
by distributing brake force among
the four wheels based on how
much load each wheel is bearing.
The Tire Pressure Monitoring
System7 (TPMS) will notify the driver
if air pressure is significantly low.
It's a standard feature on every
2010 Accord model.
All five passengers benefit from 3-point seat belts.
The front belts are equipped with an automatic
tensioning system that tightens in the event of
a moderate-to-severe frontal impact. Outboard
rear seats have the LATCH (Lower Anchors and
Tethers for CHildren) child-restraint system.
To help reduce the likelihood of whiplash
injuries in a rear-end impact, the front seats
have active head restraints. They move up
and forward in a rear collision to help keep
head movement to a minimum.
Every Accord comes standard with dual-stage, multiple-
threshold front, dual-chamber front side and side curtain
airbags to reduce the likelihood of injuries in a collision.*
The front passenger's side airbag uses the Occupant
Position Detection System (OPDS) to prevent deployment
if a child or small-statured passenger is out of position
and in the airbag's path of deployment.
*Honda reminds you and your passengers to always buckle up. Children 12 and under
are safest when properly restrained in the rear
inflated for display purposes.
Airbags inflated for display purposes.
A dream is a view of the world
not as it is, but as it could be. For over 60 years, Honda has encouraged its
associates to aim beyond what is currently possible. All for the purpose of progressing
human mobility. This spirit
has resulted in advances in environmental technology, like the hydrogen fuel cell FCX
Clarity, that brings us
closer to a future filled with blue skies. It guides us as we strive to exceed government safety regulations and has led to
industry-changing innovations on the ground, in the water, and, with the HondaJet,® in the air. And it pushes us to use premier
race circuits as testing grounds
for our ideas. Moving forward, our minds are open to new ideas, no matter
where they come from. Because you never
know what will be until you discover what can be. dreams.honda.com
