2018 Honda Odyssey Debut Showcases Exciting New Features

The 2018 Honda Odyssey debut took place happened at the North American International Auto Show, one of the largest events in the industry. The brand was able to showcase this model’s latest features, from improved connectivity to an appealing new look. Read on to learn more about the latest Honda Odyssey features and design.


According to Honda, the 2018 Odyssey debut showcased features such as the Display Audio system, CabinWatch, CabinTalk, and streaming video—each of which is new for this model year. Other great features include the CabinControl app that gives you easy access to media in the vehicle, and the Magic Slide second-row seating system designed to provide versatility any parent can appreciate.

“This new Odyssey raises the stakes for family-friendly packaging, performance and technology in the minivan segment,” said John Mendel, Executive Vice President of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. “In all aspects of its design, the new Odyssey is made to keep every member of the family happy, no matter the seating position, no matter the destination.”

The exterior was redesigned as well, featuring the Honda flying wing front grille and LED lighting, among other things. The distinct look was also carried over to the interior, and premium materials now include stain-resistant leather to provide a durable, refined ride.
