2022 Honda Ridgeline Review
2022 Honda Ridgeline: Towing Capacity & Performance
The 2022 Honda Ridgeline has a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds when properly equipped. This gives you plenty of power to bring along all sorts of gear, whether it’s your boat for a leisurely day at the lake or a trailer that holds some dirt bikes to tackle rugged terrain.
Your truck can handle much of this terrain, too. The Ridgeline already comes standard with the Intelligent Variable Torque Management™ (i-VTM4®) AWD system for increased grip on the road. This all-wheel drive system introduces Intelligent Traction Management, which comes with modes like Snow, Mud, and Sand for some exciting excursions.
All of this is made possible through the standard V6 engine that comes paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission. With this engine, you’ll experience up to 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Across all trim levels, you’ll enjoy great efficiency at an EPA-estimated 18 city/24 highway MPG.*
2022 Honda Ridgeline: Interior Amenities
All that power makes for a capable drive, and it’s also going to be a comfortable one thanks to the Ridgeline’s numerous interior amenities.
As mentioned previously, this model can seat up to five people. Plenty of these upgrades extend comfort to the entire cabin. For example, standard tri-zone automatic climate control allows you, your front-seat passenger, and riders in the second row to select their preferred temperatures.
If you want more comfort, consider upgrades to the following:
- Heated front seats
- Heated steering wheel
- Leather-trimmed seats
There’s even an available 10-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar support to provide the utmost comfort as you command your vehicle. Also available is a 4-way power front-passenger seat for further customization.
2022 Honda Ridgeline: Technology
In-vehicle technology also provides plenty of comfort since it keeps you entertained on each journey. The standard 8-inch touch-screen makes it simple to access fun apps through your smartphone, like Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
With either app, you can play music, listen to audio books, make a call, or find directions. Information will be heard through the standard 7-speaker or available 8-speaker sound system, and there’s an available wireless phone charger to make sure your device has enough power.
If you often drive to new places, you’ll appreciate an upgrade to the available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™. It’s easy to use thanks to voice recognition, and Honda HD Digital Traffic will keep you informed on your commutes.
