There’s an array of options that makes us wish we had more room to try everything at once. The Cheese Curd Burger applies fried cheese to your cheeseburger and Frickle Burger fries up pickles instead. The Defibrillator is delicious, but it’s nothing to take lightly (because it’s two patties covered with chicken fried bacon). One of the latest is Brooktoberfest. 2022 is only the second Brooktoberfest. We liked the first one so much we can’t wait to return to the second one. This one promises the same great fun as last year, but with the addition of something close to our hearts at Sclossmann Honday City: a car show! It all happens at Stefans Soccer in Brookfield on October 1st. Milwaukee Comedy Festival The Milwaukee Comedy Festival returns this October starting on the 2nd and running through the 9th. This is the 17th year and promises to be every bit as entertaining as the last 16. Headliner Laurie Kilmartin is set and the rest of the lineup will be out soon. The festival is known for showcasing different comedy styles that include sketch and improv along with classic stand-up. Boo at the Zoo Boo at the Zoo returns this year at the Milwaukee Zoo. This not-too-scary Halloween celebration is great for all ages. There’s a haystack maze, the Raven’s Trail train, lots of carved pumpkins, and trick-or-treating for the kids! All this alongside the zoo’s amazing collection of animals from lions and tigers to penguins and red pandas. (We like the red pandas most.) Beet Street Fall Festival 2022 Cactus Club brings back the Beet Street Fall Festival for 2022 with a fresh lineup. The event returns on October 9th on Wentworth Avenue, which will be closed between Goodkind and the Cactus Club. The event will feature live music, food and drink, and more for all ages.
